Valle De Guadalupe, BC, Mexico

My boyfriend surprised me for a magical and wonderful weekend away at Valle De Guadalupe. It was such a great weekend away where we slept, ate, drank, laughed, and repeat. After 3-4 months of the hustle and bustle of LA it was so nice to be in the countryside with only the sounds of the roosters in the morning. The food in Valle is absolutely amazing.. pretty much every vineyard/winery has an incredible restaurant attached to it. There are over 100 wineries to discover.. so pace yourself if you plan to try them all & plan for 2-3 per day. There are other areas to check out Valle including Ensenada & Rosarito.

Getting There

It took us about 3-4 hours from LA during Covid-19. Make sure to bring your passports & leave early to avoid long wait lines at the border. Check border wait time here. I would highly recommend driving down with an SUV given there are lot of dirt roads & can get a bit bumpy. Also make sure to get a Mexican car insurance for your time there (you can get insurance for the days you are there)since your American car insurance will not cover your time in Mexico.
